Hello, and thank you for visiting the website of Minato HR International.
My name is Takane Mitani, the representative of this office.
Our focus is on supporting overseas companies entering the Japanese market, as well as Japanese companies that employ foreign nationals.
Japan’s labor laws and workplace customs can sometimes be difficult to understand, and they may easily lead to confusion or misunderstandings. By explaining these rules clearly and carefully in English, we help prevent labor disputes and assist in building workplaces where both employers and employees can feel secure.
The motivation for my work comes from my own past experiences. Earlier in my career, I worked as a licensed architect (Class 2) at a major manufacturer. In that workplace, harassment was widespread, and I saw many colleagues resign. Witnessing this inspired me to improve working environments. I went on to obtain qualifications as an Industrial Counselor and as a Social Insurance and Labor Consultant (Shakai Hoken Roumushi). Since then, I have gained hands-on experience in payroll and social insurance procedures in the HR department of an IT company, and later at a tax corporation, supporting more than 100 client companies to date.
